Mastering the ability to take your team from the place you are, to the place you want to be can be a daunting task. Perhaps the best thing that can help carry you to the place you want to be is momentum. Keeping momentum can be key in overcoming obstacles, setting and meeting new goals, and becoming the company you want. Here are 3 tips to help you keep momentum:

1. Start With A Simple Step

One of the most frequent issues we run across is somebody who tried to change the world in one day. You’re much better off taking a simple step that you work towards your goal every day. If you spend the time to focus on getting 1% better each day, you’ll actually be able to go further.

2. Be Consistent

What usually comes after a week of trying to change the world is a week of doing the exact opposite – leaving you with a week of inconsistent work. Consistency is the single biggest thing that I think determines success. If you’re in sales, be consistent with your calls, if you’re leading people, be consistent in learning yourself.

Tony Robbins said “It’s not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives. It’s what we do consistently.”

3. Celebrate The Wins

Set goals, and once you achieve them – celebrate! Too often, as driven leaders, we can hit our marks and move on to the next thing. It’s a necessity for the people who follow you to know that when you hit a goal that it’s a positive moment, primed for a propel into the next goal.

Keeping momentum is key – how do help keep momentum?
